Think Inside the Box

My wife likes Tic Tacs, but will she think of them differently after seeing this?

Make a Big Impression

When I first was sent this, I didn’t know if it was real-But it is. This was put up on the Bank of America Building in downtown Phoenix and is ginormous. It is not one but two ads the largest being 190′ tall by 188′ wide. 1,400 individual see through panels were used to create it and it took 2 weeks to put up. An added bonus is that if Phoenix is attacked by Godzilla, These guys come alive to protect the city. Bonus.

The Curious Case of Forrest Gump

Like Forrest Gump? You’ll love Forrest Gump 2 - The Curious Case of Benjamin Buttons. My wife and friends and I picked up on most of these similarities when we saw Buttons when it came out… it was hard to get away from. Some are more subtle, and some are quite obvious, but they are there.

Miller’s 64 Calorie Collection

Miller_64_Calorie_Poster_sm.jpg
A great poster showing the calorie contents of other beverages you might order at the bar. Now Miller Lite, okay, Highlife Light sure I like it, but 64? I know people who drink it, but it’s not for me. Somehow in my mind it seems more Diet than Miller Lite and that’s saying something. Maybe Miller Lite had this issue when it first came out in 1974 (i’m guessing) but is now seen in the public conscious as normal with all the other “light” beers that have sprung up too. Maybe the second or third 64 tastes better.

Stop Animation video with Charm

Oren Lavie’s song “Her Morning Elegance” is beautiful and elegant and the video that was created for it emphasizes that. I love it.

USA Today’s Best Commercial of the Superbowl

Apparently the best commercial of the Superbowl per USA Today’s Ad Meter goes to Doritos and their “Crystal Ball.” This was probably the cheapest commercial to make coming in at around $2000 which was reportedly to feed the cast of it. Nothing like a little low-grade humor and a good crotch joke to really bring in the customers.

Super Ads for the “Big Game”

I thought just ants liked soda, but I guess they all love it. And they can stop eating each other long enough to work as a team to obtain it.
