You find out some Mime is doing a routine to your song on Youtube and it’s getting a lot of hits. You’re Natalie Imbruglia and you don’t have a ton of exposure yet. Do you talk to the label, get them to pull it, file a lawsuit or something like this? That’s what everyone else does right? OR you could go the other way and embrace this. This video shows how this was embraced. It’s silly and stupid, and I couldn’t even tell you what it appeared on, but it was better to get milage out of something people were liking on youtube than to try and sue a mime for no money right?
