Why Everything Sucks…

This is utterly brilliant. This is a captivating look into our culture and why things are the way they are. Craig Ferguson spews some of the most brilliant thoughts and I can’t believe this came from late night television.

Man tests table saw invention, by putting hand into it.

This was seriously crazy. Do you believe in a product so much that you’re willing to risk life and limb, (well at least limb) to prove it? This table saw invention works like a touch table-lamp, when it senses electricity it reacts. (In this case it shuts off and stops spinning.) Incredible. If only Billy Mays was around to pitch this, but he wouldn’t have to because it sells itself. Go to www.redmondmachinery.com to check it out.

Slanket, Snuggie, WTF blanket

Here is a fun parody on an infomercial that we should forget. Slanket, Snuggie, does it really matter? This product will be in the world’s past gathering dust with other fads that seemed like a good idea at the time, at least for some of us. Next up crocs!

CATcerto

An orchestral piece that was inspired by a piano-playing cat. Lithuanian conductor Mindaugas Piecaitis was inspired by Nora (the cat) and created this magnificent accompaniment.

Mikes Hard Commercials

When I saw this first commercial I laughed. I always thought the “Cold as the Rockies” gimmicky label that turns blue when it’s cold on Coors cans was a joke. This is not why I drink beer. What’s next, Sam Adam’s including some rub-on tattoos with every six-pack? So it was refreshing to see some of their competition take them to task. Here’s Mike’s Hard Lemonade poking fun at labels turning colors, and a few other spots from this series. Cheers.
