Soda? Pop? Coke? What do you call the fizzing beverage that flows at the drive throughs and restaurants? Well believe it or not a survey was done and determined, by county, what it is known as. This is a very interesting map to say the least. Being from Milwaukee it seems the whole eastern side of Wisconsin calls it “soda” while everyone in the western and northern part of our state all the way west through Minnesota and out to Seattle calls it “pop”. Even people in Chicago and Michigan call it “pop” and this extends eastward to the east coast where it is again called “soda”. Everyone down south just calls it “coke”. So check out this fun map and to find out what it is called in your region, although you already know, unless you’re in the Virginia area where the three terms seem to converge and you are probably really confused. Only once in a life time does something come along and embody the internet and life in general simultaneously. Well it seems to happen every 3-4 days lately, but here is a small song/video that extends the 15-minute fame of the horribly popular “Three Wolf Moon” t-shirt. A garment that got much popularity because of its tasteless and horrible design - which made it an ironic legend. Being lactose intolerant takes some getting used to, but I’ve been learning how to eat better because of it.
