Soda? Pop? Coke? What do you call the fizzing beverage that flows at the drive throughs and restaurants? Well believe it or not a survey was done and determined, by county, what it is known as. This is a very interesting map to say the least. Being from Milwaukee it seems the whole eastern side of Wisconsin calls it “soda” while everyone in the western and northern part of our state all the way west through Minnesota and out to Seattle calls it “pop”. Even people in Chicago and Michigan call it “pop” and this extends eastward to the east coast where it is again called “soda”. Everyone down south just calls it “coke”.
