A Wedding Video with Charm…

Megan + Narbeh’s Sweden Thriller Concept “Snow” from PACIFIC PICTURES on Vimeo.

Sure you could have a videographer for a wedding and shoot a top-notch video for everyone to enjoy and view once… OR you could have a movie created that could be enjoyed by many. My friend Andy let me in on this, a beautiful movie shot in Sweden, (as the couple is Swedish) and it takes “wedding video” to a completely different level. This short film captivates as much as entertains, showcasing the couples love and stars them in thier own thriller entitled Sno.

Because they can

The Muppets-Giving-Rhapsody

The Muppets tackle Bohemian Rhapsody, in their own muppet-loving way.

A Music Video that Moves the Soul

I honestly don’t know why I haven’t posted on this before, but here it is Sigur Ros “Unititled #1. off of the album ( ).” This Icelandic band known for recording albums in empty swimming pools (to get that beautiful reverb) is also known for making statements in their well shot and well conceived vidoes. This one in particular is one of my absolute favorites.

Swell Season

I loved the movie “Once” and the Swell Season music that went along with it. Their new album is called “Strict Joy” and continues the beautiful melancholic vibe that went along with those original songs. Here is the video for “Low Rising” the first single off the new album.

Indie Rock vs. Beat It

Who can really challenge MJ. Really? But this clever rendition is awesome in so many ways.

Let them eat cake

Hey ladies, you’ve got a hard choice ahead of you… either eat this Tom Selleck cake, or shellack it and hang it on the wall like a picture… really it’s a win/win as far as the universe is concerned. (and I love the sprinkles.)

Thought this was extremely clever. (Thanks Andy!)
